Program director: Heather P. Ferrill, DO
Dr. Ferrill, a 2000 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, is an associate professor of osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) at the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM). Board-certified in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine/OMM, her practice emphasizes osteopathic manipulative treatment in the pediatric population. She serves on the AAO Board of Governors and the Education Committee.

Registration

Register online at the AOA’s OMED website, but remember to register as an AAO member. The funds the Academy collects from members’ OMED registrations help defray the costs of the AAO programs presented at OMED. In addition, up to 22 of the continuing medical education credits you earn at OMED will count as neuromusculoskeletal medicine credits for NMM board certification and osteopathic continuous certification if you register for the Academy's program.

Correction: The number of possible continuing medical education credits changed from 26 to 22. (Sept. 16, 2014)
