Congratulations and thank you to all the generous donors who have contributed to the AAO’s annual fund over the past month. They have helped the AAO reach 44.2% of its $150,000 goal for the 2008-2009 campaign goal. As of February 13, 231 donors have contributed a total of $66,322.81. The campaign is running behind last year’s record since on February 6, 2008 the data shows 240 donors contributing $68,858.38. This year, the Golden Ram campaign has a goal of $150,000 to improve the use of informational technology though the AAO. This will truly enhance the AAO as it streamlines the way we are able to serve members from registration for educational courses to the development of webinar/online courses that allow you to earn CME credit from the comfort of your own home or office.

The AAO leadership invites all members to make contributions to this annual fund, which continues through May 31, 2009. If you have not already made your contribution, we encourage you to do so prior to the AAO Convocation.
