Melicien A. Tettambel, DO, FAAO Re-elected as Governor of the American Academy of Osteopathy

Little Rock, Arkansas, March 26, 2009 – Melicien A. Tettambel, DO, FAAO has re-assumed the office of Governor of the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO).

Dr. Tettambel is a 1978 graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and by the American Osteopathic Board of Special Proficiency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Dr. Tettambel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy and past chair of the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. She is a member of the AAO’s Board of Governors and served as the AAO president in 1998-1999. She also serves as a member of the AAO’s International Affairs and Fellowship Committees. In addition to the AAO, Dr. Tettambel is a member of and active in the AOA, ACOOG, The Cranial Academy, and the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation. Dr. Tettambel just recently moved to Yakima, WA and became the Chair of the Dept of OMM and the new DO school, Pacific Northwest University.
