Service Merit Scholarship    

Nomination Deadline: February 15

Nomination Application Must Include:
CV, Essay, Letter from Chapter President

(there is not a separate application, The CV should include all contact information)

 Established in 2008, the Verband der Osteopathen Deutschland, the German division of the European Federation of Osteopaths (EFO) generously offers a grant to one American osteopathic student for a full expense trip to the EFO’s annual International Congress of Osteopathy. This conference occurs each year in October.

Rules: 

1. The UAAO Service Merit Scholarship applicant must be a UAAO member.
2. The application must be within the parameters set above or it will be disqualified.
3. The application must be received by Phyllis McNamara at the AAO headquarters no later than 4:00 pm (EST) on February 15th.
4. All service related pursuits will be considered.
5. The UAAO National Council will decide the winning application during the week of AAO Convocation.
6. UAAO National council member and regional coordinators may be applicants considered by their own school chapter. If a UAAO National Council member is chosen as the school chapter applicant, an alternate judge will be utilized in deciding the designated winner.
7. The scholarship must be taken in October during the EFO
annual conference.
8. The scholarship must be utilized by the winner within five years.
