Course Description
This 3-hour interactive virtual course is intend
ed to help ONMM residency graduates prepare for the NMM/OMM written board c
ertifying examination. This course will be delivered via virtual methods as
determined by AAO, and will include significant real-time audience respons
e participation.
Preparation for the exam will include 30 practice que
stions covering the breadth of content expected to be represented on the ex
amination. We will review the questions, discuss strategies for writing the
questions and identify the correct answer. Audience responses will help dr
ive test-taking strategies as we progress through the course.

At the conclusion of this workshop, the learner
should be able to:
1. Increase the proportion of participating diplom
ates successfully passing their written board exam on the first try.

. Correct audience responses exceed 85% for the correct answer on individua
l questions in the program.

Jonathan Torres, DO, MPA,
FACOFP, FAAO received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Harvard
University. He was awarded his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from t
he University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- School of Osteopathi
c Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) and completed his internship and residency in family
medicine at Kennedy Hospital in Stratford, NJ, where he served as Chief Re
sident. Dr. Torres also completed a Plus-one program in Neuro-Musculoskelet
al Medicine & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at UMDNJ-SOM.
In 2
013, Dr. Torres joined Atlantic Health System as the Assistant Program Dire
ctor for the Department of Family Medicine Residency Program at Morristown
Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. In 2015 he started the ONMM-3 program the
re as well, where he serves as the Program Director and Director of Osteopa
thic Education. In 2018 he was awarded his FACOFP and in 2020 his FAAO. In
2020, he also earned his Master in Public Administration from Rutgers Unive
rsity.
