The American Osteopathic Association held its annual Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition in Anaheim, California, Sept. 17-20, 2016. At the Academy’s program, which ran Sept. 17-20, attendees learned about emerging concepts in the field of manual medicine, including medical imaging and musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment, as they relate to the disciplines of neuromusculoskeletal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics and sports medicine.

The AAO joined forces with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Osteopathic International Alliance to offer exceptional lectures by speakers such as Shawn R. Kerger, DO, FAOASM; Richard G. Schuster, DO; Stacey Pierce-Talsma, DO, MS, FNAOME; Kenneth J. Lossing, DO; Lisa Ann DeStefano, DO; Priscilla Tu, DO, and more. In addition, Martin S. Levine, DO, MPH, FACOFP dist., delivered the 44th annual Thomas L. Northup Lecture.
